Visiting Artist: Hawaiian filmmaker and teacher, Hinaleimoana Wong-Kalu, Nov. 22

Professor Reiko Tahara and co-teacher, IMA student, Yehui Zhao are inviting Hawaiian filmmaker and teacher, Hinaleimoana Wong-Kalu for a Q&A about two films A Place in the Middle (directors: Dean Hamer and Joe Wilson; story creator Hinaleimoana Wong-Kalu), and a new animation KAPAEMAHU (directors Dean Hamer, Joe Wilson and Hinaleimoana Wong-Kalu). The event is part of the IMA class, Documenting Histories, Asian, Asian American taught by Tahara and Zhao.
