9 credits of Analytical classes 

Two formal Critiques in addition to the class critiques 

Thesis (6 credits, two semesters) 

* Students can take up to 6 graduate credits outside of IMA towards the 48 credit degree  

42 credits of classes + 6 credits of Thesis = 48 credits required

Students can go over credit if they choose, maximum credit count is 60
