IMA alumni Laura Chipley and Samara Smith are recipients of the 2026 Queens Arts Fund. This project-based grant will enable them to organize a series of free outings designed to engage Queens residents directly in creating Virtual Aquapolis, an immersive environmental history project that explores the transformation of New York Harbor’s underwater world over 500 years.
