Congrats to multimedia artist and IMA alum Sasha Wortzel who is awarded a 2023 Guggenheim Fellowship!
Sasha has multiple projects on view in April. Short film, How to Carry Water recently screened at the Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival and the Sarasota Film Festival and is screening at the San Francisco International Film Festival (April 16th) and the Florida Film Festival (April 22nd)
And Sasha is exhibiting multimedia project, Dreams of Unknown Islands: St. Augustine through April 22nd at the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum, and has a project called Sitting Shiva included in a group exhibition called Thick as Mud at the Henry Art Gallery in Seattle up until May 7th.
