The IMA MFA Graduate Committee governs the operations of the program. It consists of the Program Director and four full-time faculty members elected by the entire Film and Media Studies Department faculty for two-year terms. The Graduate Committee meets at least once per month to formulate program policies and procedures, covering curriculum, advisement, program resources, student fellowships, admissions, and alumni relations. The Graduate Committee develops strategic program goals and long-term implementation plans for improving the IMA Program. The Graduate Committee also makes recommendations to the Film and Media Studies Department and to the College concerning issues that impact the program. Graduate Committee meetings are frequently open to other IMA Program Faculty and IMA student representatives. If you are interested in participating in a Graduate Committee meeting, please contact the Program Coordinator.
