
IMA 48-Hour Audio / Video Project Challenge
The 48-Hour Challenge is back as Kickoff commences in the evening on Friday, March 6th 6PM at Hunter’s TV Studio (HN 476)
Projects will be due at 4PM on Sunday March 8th and then screened at Starr Bar in Bushwick on Sunday March 8th 5-8PM
Projects can be films (documentary, audio-only, experimental, recorded performance, and narrative films)

This challenge will encourage you to try something new, act for the first time, try audio recording, picking up a camera after a long hiatus or experimenting with something outside of your comfort zone. The choice is yours.

Friday, March 6th – Kickoff at Hunter’s TV Studio (HN 476)
– Secret creative prompt will be announced (will have to be incorporated into your project one way or another)
– Meet with your group & brainstorm a plan
– You can shoot at Hunter or anywhere else you have access to
– You can checkout equipment if you need to
Saturday, March 7th – Full day of production, whether you decide to stay on campus or go somewhere else is up to you. If you can only stay for a certain amount of time, let us know your availability in the sign-up form!
Sunday, March 8th – Edit & finish your project! Email them as they’ll be due by 4pm
From 5-8pm on March 8th – A screening of all the projects created at Starr Bar in Bushwick (214 Starr Street). A sweet venue with a bar, cozy event space with a stage, large screen and projector that’s been rented for you!
After the event, Country line dancing starts up at Starr which is separate from the event but you’re more than welcome to join in on the fun.
