IMA alum Katie Mathews screens her film, Roleplay, at DCTV’s new Firehouse Cinema on February 27th. “ROLEPLAY follows a year in the life of a group of students at Tulane University as they use their lived experiences to create a play that confronts the rampant sexual violence on their college campus. ROLEPLAY is not an investigation of a single sexual assault, nor is it the story of student activists taking on an institution, rather ROLEPLAY brings to life the insidious culture of normalized sexual assault, and gives voice to a group of students who seek to upend these norms in their community and in themselves. ”
