From April 17th to 21st, IMA alum Bryan Urbsaitis will screen his documentary film Men In Heels at Hanoi International Queer Film Festival (HIQFF).

Five New York City drag queens discuss gender transformation and empowerment through their lived experiences as drag performers.
Men in Heels explores how drag queens balance between their performative personas and their normal lives, fighting invisibility through community involvement as unacknowledged and overlooked superheroes in the battle for true LGBT equality.

Hanoi International Queer Film Festival (otherwise known as HIQFF), is a non-profit Queer-themed Film Festival that screens both Vietnamese and International cinematic works.

The main theme of HIQFF this year is “Pride journey”. Each day of film festival week has a topic which sticks to the main theme: “Who I am”, “Discrimination” “Love”, “Acceptance”, “Pride”

HIQFF will be held from April 2, 2017 to April 8, 2017 in the form of film screenings and talk shows/open discussions/ conferences.
