The Integrated Media Arts MFA Program at Hunter College is a place to develop your voice as a storyteller. Students have entered the program with experience in visual arts, film production, journalism, sociology, anthropology, documentary film, photography, animation, writing, dance, music, performance art and education.
Students complete the program achieving 45 credits in production and analytical classes and then proceed to work with three advisors to produce a thoughtful and impactful thesis project in whichever media form that works best for the concept. Past thesis projects have been documentary, narrative and experimental films, animations, performances, interactive websites, interactive installations.
